About us:
After six years working for two different rare bookdealers my wife and I started our own bussiness in January 1981.
By the end of 1981 we moved to a monumental house in the centre of Utrecht. It was a shop with an office. The sales directly from our shop were rather disappointing but the work from the office had increased enormously. So we moved after fifteen years to another monumental house on the canal downtown with only an office.
Recently we moved again to a small city close to Utrecht Vianen, Langendijk 8. From the beginning we specialized in old and rare books on voyages and travel and Dutch colonial history. We still make five or six printed catalogues each year but you may find us as well on the internet.
We exhibit on several international book fairs in Europe and America where we hope to meet you.
